Favre Leuba Diversifies the Deep Raider Day Date, with a Two-Tone Edition

Recently unveiled, the Deep Raider Day Date expanded the collection’s appeal as an ideal daily-wear watch with enhanced functionality. While the launch pieces were in steel, the series now gets more variety with the Deep Raider Day Date in two-tone finish, featuring yellow gold PVD-treated elements and classic dial hues.

The Deep Raider Day Date gets the Midas Touch

The Deep Raider Day Date’s case is crafted from 316L stainless steel, sized at 40mm, and water-resistant up to 300 meters, or 30 ATM. It combines brushed and polished finishes. More significantly in this edition, the crown and bezel have a yellow gold treatment, applied through the PVD, or physical vapor deposition, process. Additionally, even the central links of the integrated bracelet have been given this treatment, lending the Day Date a more resplendent look.

The unidirectional rotating bezel features a ceramic insert with a 60-minute dive-timer scale. Even the markers on the bezel have been given a gold finish, perfectly complementing the golden elements across the piece.

Meanwhile, the bracelet features tool-free interchangeability, allowing the wearer to easily switch between the two-tone bracelet with any other bracelet or rubber strap from the Deep Raider Renaissance collection.

Classic Dials paired with golden accents

The all-new Deep Raider Day Date in two-tone is offered in three dial colours, blue and green with a striking gradient finish, and a classic solid black. The gradient on the blue and green dials have subtle hues that fade to darker tones at the periphery, adding depth to the watch face. What lends these two-tone models the most visual impact are the gold-treated details, including the central hour, minute, and seconds hands, as well as Favre Leuba’s hourglass emblem at six o’clock.

Adding to both form and function, the dials are crafted with a sandwich construction, incorporating a base layer of lume that ensures bright and consistent illumination in low-light conditions.

Other elements such as the elongated hour indexes and the day and date window at three o’clock remain the same as in the previous Deep Raider Day Date edition.
